Book Report

Rontgen was the only child in the family, he was spolit and boisterous. One day ,he was exspelled for doing many naughty things. When he grow up he was bored. He thought about it and studied at home and planned to register for the final examination. He done quite well in the examination but the school refused to give the certificate as he was no longer a student of that school. So he tried for a foreign school in Germany.
After 4 years of studying, he became a mechanical engineer. While working in the laboratory, he chanced upon a mysterious radiation. He found out that the radiation is very penetrating. He decided to call this newly discovered radiation "X-ray". He was offered a high price for his invention but declined the offer of a noble title from a German royal family.
In 1901, he was given the first nobel prize for physics. Some felt that he was just lucky. But the scientific circles were unanimous in recognising his contributions to Science.
